Here's "Water for Millheim," a short B&W documentary movie (about 24 minutes) about my hometown in central Pennsylvania. From the early 1950s, it shows people coming together to solve a community problem. Here's a few pages of commentary I pulled together about the movie.
Following the documentary, there's about a half-hour of home-movie footage from Millheim going back to the 1930s, including a parade celebrating Millheim's sesquicentennial (1938, I think), with many marching bands, old cars, farm equipment & what appears to be a pig-calling competition.
